Introduction:
This camp is designed for the goaltender who desires a curriculum designed specifically for them. The camp will feature only ten (10) goaltenders on the ice per ice time with two goaltenders sharing an instructor for a 1:2 student/instructor ratio. The camp is designed solely for elite level goaltenders who are of bantam age or older. This camp will address the importance of making a controlled first save and how that can lead to more control in the rest of the goaltender’s game. There are many variables that lead to a controlled first save such as: excellent skating and mobility, outstanding positioning and clean, precise save techniques. These are some of the things that ATC will focus on through the duration of the camp.
On Ice Overview:
The on ice portion of the camp will have two distinct parts to it; first there will be a major focus on skating, mobility and positioning in the morning sessions and second, there will be a major focus in the afternoon on controlled saves, properly executed recovery and second save preparation. The ice sessions WILL BE intense, challenging but also rewarding.
Off Ice Overview:
The dryland portion of the camp will focus on goaltender specific strength training, core strength, flexibility and hand eye coordination. There will be first day, mid week and last day fitness testing performed that will test aerobic capacity, lower and upper body strength and core strength. As with the on ice portion of the camp, the off ice portion will be challenging, demanding and tiring, these things are necessary if, as goaltender’s, we want to get to the next level.
Upon conclusion of the Elite Camp students will demonstrate the ability to:
- Make controlled first saves more frequently because of their superior skating and positional skills
- Recover effectively both back to their feet as well as on their knees
- Repel a greater number of high quality attacks with more consistency

Testimonial
Definitely seen a big improvement in his game. What I have noticed is the technical end of his game. Since he has been with ATC his technical game has come along so, his movement, recovery, and position has improved drastically.
I know alot people, alot of coaches, and goalie parents and I am always talking about ATC.
