ABOUT US
ATC Goaltending works with goalies at every stage of the game, helping them understand the position, develop strong habits and build confidence in how they play. We coach the technical, tactical and mental sides of goaltending while recognizing that every goalie learns and develops differently.
Our goal is to create lasting coaching relationships built on honest feedback, clear instruction and a shared commitment to getting better.

MEET THE TEAM

JAMIE MCCAIG
Jamie McCaig is the owner of ATC Goaltending and has been a full-time goalie coach for 21 years. He believes every goalie is unique and works within each athlete’s individual game, with an emphasis on improving pre-shot movement so they can arrive early, set and ready for whatever comes next.
Jamie’s experience includes playing Junior A in the BCHL and AJHL, U SPORTS hockey at the University of Lethbridge and professionally in the WCHL and ECHL. Over 18 seasons coaching in Junior A and the WHL, he has helped goalies advance to the NCAA, U SPORTS and professional hockey. Jamie currently works with the Alberni Valley Bulldogs, Port Alberni Bombers, NAIT men’s hockey team, PAC Saints U18 AAA and Junior Oilers U18 AAA White.

ROBBY NOLAN
Robby Nolan joined ATC in 2021 and focuses on helping goalies improve their movement, read developing plays and manage traffic around the crease. His approach helps goalies better understand what is happening in front of them so they can arrive in position and make more controlled decisions.
Robby played Junior A in Fort McMurray before earning an NCAA scholarship to Michigan Tech. After graduating, he played professionally for four seasons across North America and Denmark. Robby is currently the goalie coach for the Drumheller Dragons in the AJHL.

ALLEN YORK
Allen York brings a strong technical eye to ATC and has a natural ability to break down the details of the position in a way goalies can understand and apply. His coaching focuses on helping each goalie move more efficiently and develop greater consistency in their game.
Allen played Junior A with the Camrose Kodiaks before earning an NCAA scholarship to Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute. He went on to play five professional seasons, including time with the Columbus Blue Jackets during the 2011–12 NHL season. Allen is currently the goalie coach for the Camrose Kodiaks in the AJHL.
